eMCeeZ LoG: North End Awesomeness

Ok.

So there are a couple of really exciting things happening in our community. Well, at least they are exciting to me!

#1 - There is an amazing new blog you all HAVE to check out. Its a blog that's gonna feature all the amazing things in the North End! We are gonna share updates on many things there, and you all are welcome to leave comments and whatever else! Its especially exciting, cuz I am gonna be able to do updates on it, along with other North End peeps! Check it out!

#2 - in order to be a guest poster on the above blog, I needed to create a wordpress for myself. and so I did. (I love it...but feel like I am cheating on eMCeeZ LoG with...this other site lol.)

#3 - perhaps soon we will have more updates on the AYO Anti-Gang Blog

#4 - The North End is awesome. Just Sayin. There have been some amazing strides in the last couple months in terms of bringing North End Rising to a strong front and to have a presence in our community.

To lovingly borrow a phrase from the North End Community Helpers Network...

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.

AYO - Who We Are

AYO! (Aboriginal Youth Opportunities) is a network of young leaders from the North End; we stand together and learn from each other. We began in March 2010 and committed to working together. We have appeared on the radio and held an education themed event in the summer time.

This group is just us young people volunteering and therefore we have no budget. Our method of operating is writing letters of support to see who we can work with to strengthen this network of young leaders that are committed to helping our community get better; to see who wants to provide ABORIGINAL YOUTH with even more OPPORTUNITIES to be awesome.
